Got the BMW i3 240V wall charger installed today

So now I don't have to wait 20+ hours for a full charge using the standard 120V socket. Now it'll take ~4.5 hours for a full charge which is a lot more feasible and practical. The more I drive this car, the more I love it and the more I'm happy I got it! ...

Because 20 hours is a bit impossible if you want to use the car on a daily base .... now you can just plug it in before you go to sleep ... well i guess through the app you can just program it if you don't forget to plug it in :-) . What's your daily comm... 

My commute is very short so I have no problem

Does the house have a separate meter just for the car charger? Does the car charger have a meter that reads how many kWs flow through it? If I wanted to meter the kWs, would I have to install my own measuring device?

I think you'd have to get a separate meter from your electric provider

I know if you go to a charge station, some will tell you how many kWh are being pumped through. But I don't have a meter at my house. - AT
