BMW Showroom In Paris
Patrick_y visits the BMW Showroom in Paris and wishes he could pack a toy car into his suitcase. Unfortunately, this toy car is too large, even for checked luggage.

The Ultimate Driving Machine. In Paris, they have a large showroom on George V right off of Champs Elysees.
Paris, the French capital and the capital of many other things such as food and living well is no stranger to big expensive cars. And thus, BMW has a large showroom right on George V, one of the most fashionable and expensive avenues in the world.
Here’s a quick tour of the BMW showroom…
The BMW Collection. No, it's not that toy car.
The BMW M4. This is a real car. Not a toy car.
This is a child's toy car. A replica of a 328i.
Careful, this toy car costs almost as much as a real one!
It's big, it can seat two children!
That's a real spare tire. That alone doesn't fit in my carry on luggage...
BMW i8 - wow, this car is unique.
Fixed caliper brakes! Not sliding calipers! That's a good thing!
Look at that profile... Sleek and exotic.
Tail lamps... There's a nice three dimensional quality to them.
The Four Door Coupe, the 435i Gran Coupe.
The rear glass is a hatchback design. It goes with the trunk lid. I would've preferred a non hatchback with a dedicated trunk that was separate from the passenger cabin.
The BMW X4. A coupe-like SUV.
This was a big car. Very large car.
BMW events? Sign me up!
A nice sculpture of BMW kidney grills.

History of the brand. History is to be continued, as it is ongoing...
History of the logo.
Not all BMWs have an engine in them. This one has a human engine! And fixed brake calipers.

I am a bit afraid with all these hybrid engines, to tell the truth. Yes, I read that Ferrari and Porsche have such an offer for their respective top cars, but... Still... Best, Nicolas
I've been in fear for a long time...
Hybridization has been a real fear for me for a long time... Lexus was the first company to use it as a performance booster. Now, all the performance car companies are following suit. GIve me a good old non hybrid car...

Hi Patrick, great photos of great cars :-) ... I especially like the design and the tech of the i8 ... several of my friends are considering one as it is an interesting company car, the only drawback is the price at around 130,000 Euros .. seems like they...
How did you guess...
Yes... The M4 is my favorite! By far! I wouldn't mind owning one. The BMW i8 is actually quite a machine. It's fairly fast, 3.8 seconds 0-97kph. And a looker. For 130,000 Euros, that's a bargain. The Audi R8, which looks fantastic isn't that fast.
With that price tag ...
.... BMW probably doesnt make profit :-) anyway .... I like the idea of a hybrid like the i8 but with less performance and even better fuel consumption, maybe they should do an E30 M3 with that 1.5 connected to that electrical motor :-)
