I came across this abandoned P1800 a couple of months ago. Needless to say, and after enjoying Nicos posts about his travels and tours in his, I almost shed a tear for the condition this one is in. Keep enjoying yours, Nico! You are most definitely doing...  

Finding one in good shape is not that easy. It took me a good year from the moment I took the decision to hunt one, to the moment I found it. Thanks for the good words, Hermano. Nicolas.

...helped with a few friend's cars over the years. Of my own cars, my favorites included a '63 Karmann Ghia (my first car), and two classics that I still own, a '64 Porsche 356C coupe that I restored in 2003, and a '78 MGB that used to be my daily driver ...

I felt like looking up the owner and towing the car back to Mexico… And then, reality hit me and realized it would be a great pain in the a.. to fulfill the restoration. My solace is that there are people like Nico who cherish theirs immensely. Take care,...
