Here's the new MINI 5 Door
Sep 13, 2014,16:41 PM
Here's the new MINI 5 Door which is larger than the regular 2 door MINI. The back even has 3 seats now so this makes it a much more practical family car if you don't mind the small trunk.
It'll come offered in these 6 model variants:
MINI Cooper S 5 door
MINI Cooper 5 door
MINI ONE 5 door (petrol)
MINI Cooper SD 5 door
MINI Cooper D 5 door
MINI ONE 5 door (diesel)
I'm assuming it's a tad shorter and smaller than the 5 door MINI Countryman but still am puzzled as to why this car exists because to me, this new MINI 5 Door & and the MINI Countryman seem to serve the same customer and are almost the same size. Don't you think?
Cheers,
Anthony

I currently have the now previous Cooper S. Although it is perhaps no beauty, at least it is consistent. The proportions of the new one are nowhere, the tail lights seem to be out of place, the.... Not happy to see the direction they take for the mini. Br...

.. isn't too bad but it's nowhere near the mark 1 (R50) or the mark 2 (R56) like yours ... i do like the Cooper with it's 1,5 litre 3 pot and 136 hp ... a 7.9 to 62 mph (100kph) is far from bad ... and fuel consumption might be good too ... maybe :-) Fili...

.. a Beemer FWD ... :-) ... well, if they manage to make the Mini such a cool drive i hope they make it happen to the BMW as well ... Once read somewhere in a survey that 80% of BMW drivers didn't know whether their BMW was FWD, RWD or even 4WD :-) ... . ...
Looks practical. Should sell well!

I'm really starting to like the Minis after I got one as a rental in November of 2013. That was a great car! I drove 1100 miles on it in three days and enjoyed it immensely! This is the first time I heard about a 5-door Mini. Thanks Anthony! And I think I...
