Need to save funds to secure this fully restored 1966 E type Roadster..Comes with a detachable hard top and brakes and radiator have been modified to keep up with the middle east heat. It has done 1646 miles after the restoration and drives like any other...

While that bonnet is still impressive, the Series 3 really lost something with the 2+2 humpback body, the steel wheels and the fussy headlights and grille. Though the V12 with automatic is a bit more relaxing to drive in town than the early manuals - chan... 

Agreed that these aesthetic changes were not as efficient as the former series.

...with power steering standard, not disimilar to the XJ6s system, so not much effort involved. Not a bicep-builder when parking like the earlier cars...and the 1800 :-)

And that is the Series 1 with flat floor and allumium panel dashboard and outer bonnet lock. All the series that came after are improvements that were not necessary. best Edmond

That is indeed the one to get. But I wouldn't mind finding a 2 or 3 in great shape.
