playing with my trucks. I used to make all of the big rig sounds. There is no question that having a diesel engine in a large pickup makes me feel like a kid again. So yes... it is pure bliss to drive... not so fun to park though!

Like this... Each crate can weigh up to 3,000 pounds. I'll be pulling flat trailers up to 15,000 pounds total and on smaller jobs throwing 1 or 2 crates directly in the box. ...  

Do I need a special license to pilot that? Looks really imppsing and (gulp) expensive.

I have already adjusted to its size; the first time I pulled it in the garage I was super nervous. Now I have that down OK. Parking in small lots is near impossible though, and I will be avoiding those situations as best I can.

I just looked up the stats on the car off the manufacturer's website. Apparently it comes in two engine variations, diesel or gasoline. The diesel is massive, 6.6 liters. What kind of fuel economy does it get? Website states a 680 mile range. Does it have...

I'm impressed. That's quite good. My 4.4 liter petrol-powered 3800 pound sedan probably averages around 23-24 mpg on the highway with a tailwind. Needless to say, I'm not helping reduce oil consumption.

I think General Motors has done a fine job with achieving respectable MPGs on these trucks. And the emissions requirements on the engines are strict. Lots of guys remove the equipment but there can be heavy consequences, one of which is voiding your power... 

1037 Newtonmeters is very impressive ! When i worked at my uncle's place i often drove the company pick-up, a Chevy i think with a 6,2 litre diesel non turbo ! It had 140 hp and around 350 Nm (250 lb-ft) ... i remember doing 195 kph (120+mph) in it ... fu...  

Excuse my tardiness in seeing it. The current GM 6.2L puts out 420HP / 460TQ. She is a monster. But only available in the 1/2 platforms, and I need a 3/4 ton at a minimum. And for pulling, diesel is so comfortable. To be honest, I find it so fun to drive ...
