Black Cat on Steroids, anyone?
Recently I went on a 200 mile one-way road trip just to do an oil change, yes you see it right....and while waiting, I saw a neighboring dealership had these on their lot.
Man, the black one XKR-S sure looks menacing.....and I heard it will end production in 2015.
550hp, 20in rim, carbon fiber body kit....luxury interior, but lower end infotainment...These were limited edition cars, 100 coupes and 100 convertibles, if it means anything.
The new F-type also looks good but too small for me.
I have never owned a Jaguar before, and wonder if the new owner TATA will affect the heritage.
Judging from the new Range Rover sales, it seems they got a winning formula, smooth transition and successful.
Most of the Range Rovers are either sold or waiting list...economy is doing really good.
Back to my question: What do you think of this black panther on steroids? Any owners or expert opinion?

Depends on what you are after.
Sure it is powerful. Violent, even. But it must be a heavy car. So, if you are after a GT, it is a great alternative. If you are after a sports car, not sure. Aesthetically, I like it a lot. Best, Nicolas

The natural competitors are M6, SL63, Aston Vantage S,
Maserati Granturismo, 911 Carrera S etc. In the test against M6, it was ahead, behind 911 and SL63. Definitely each has it's own virtues...and it sound good on those You-tube videos. Thanks for the feedback. Rgds Raymond

how's your dark knight doing for you thus far? Those MCs are rare and hard to find, only seen one white in Ogara Coach, only 2000+ miles, very tempted if not for the white, like my previous 650ci. I prefer darker colors for sports car. I like Jaguars ads,...
