Ferdinand Alexander Porsche passed away ...

... in Salzburg at the age of 76. I think it is not exxagerating to call him the most influential industrial designer of our time. His concepts of combining aesthetics and ergonomics are valid until today, and most, if not all his designs have become true classics of the 20th century.
He will be buried in his family's grave in Zell am See, in Austria.

I still feel it is over-rated but having been without her for a year and a half now, I am missing her. A great icon that perhaps needed time and absence to grow on me.
