The US is the comletely wrong habitat for such a beast! Germany is the place!
May 12, 2015,02:37 AM
Just had a very enjoyable race with the I 8 and an AMG C class on the German Autobahn (without endangering others certainly!).
And I could tell, by looking in my rear mirror , that it can accelerate at any given speed immensely and has a good elasticity!
But if the speed limiter is still in place it will only do a 155 mph and that is not enough for the Autobahn.
I also move over very politely if the SLS is in my back at 155 mph.
The funny thing is: if you sit in a comparable car it is always a race and a chase on the Autobahn.
A fantastic looking, different looking, emotional and very good car from BMW.
Best

Even living the life of money growing on trees it is still silly to pay 6x MSRP for anything! SMH!

The last time I saw this car was at airport display last month... Cannot resist and took a ballwatch shot with a BMW. And now it is hitting the road now! What a rush! ...

Like the Z1, the 850, 635 and back to the 507: this I8 s a stark reminder that BMW can produce cars that are instant classics. Best Moritz
