The car I want most to buy is

A fuel cell vehicle. This one will do nicely:


















I tried to get a Honda Clarity in 2007, but no luck. Only rich celebrities within 20 miles of Honda's HQ seemed to score a car. A good thing too, as Hydrogen is scarce.











Will this be the year? Will I score a Mirai or Honda FCell vehicle? It might be the year, because as I was ripping down the highway AFTER the show at 80 mph, I came up on a M-B fuel cell car. I didn't even know they were out testing here in SoCalif ... and it had civilian (not Mfr) plates.

Hydrogen is expensive and extremely energy intensive to produce. It requires a tremendous amount of electricity to manufacture hydrogen. Granted, much of that electricity at hydrogen refineries is generated through hydroelectric or solar power. The beauty...
